En respuesta a la devastación masiva y extensa causada por el huracán Ian, la Junta de Comisionados del Condado Lee votó unánimemente para formar el Grupo Operativo de Recuperación basado en el Entramado Nacional de Recuperación de Desastres de FEMA.

The ResilientLee Recovery & Resilience Plan (Plan) is a roadmap for Lee County and its municipalities to support their unique communities in building back from and continuing to thrive despite the devastating impact of Hurricane Ian. More than 6,000 stakeholders provided input. The Recovery Task Force voted unanimously to approve the Plan on February 23, 2024. The Plan was accepted by the Lee Board of County Commissioners for final consideration at the regularly scheduled Board meeting on March 19.
